The External Stores Jettison Panel provides a dedicated, emergency function to release all external stores from the aircraft pylons.
When pressed, the jettison button sends an electrical signal to disengage the bomb rack latches, instantly releasing external fuel tanks or ordnance.
This feature is used in critical situations, such as engine flameout recovery, drag reduction, or combat damage avoidance.
