SIMSTRUCT

Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026 // Classification: PUBLIC

By accessing or using the SIMSTRUCT platform, participating in the community, or downloading any provided files (CAD, STL, DXF, Code), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all use of the platform.

1. Operating Model & Delivery

SIMSTRUCT is a non-commercial engineering research project. This platform serves as a portfolio and technical archive for modular aeronautical cockpit design.

  • No Fixed Timeframes: We do not guarantee, promise, or compromise on a specific timeframe for the delivery of any complete panel, aircraft module, or feature.
  • Informational Nature: Access is provided for educational and review purposes. Features, files, and designs may be added, altered, or removed as testing dictates.

2. Prototyping & Accuracy Tolerances

Simstruct hardware is built with intense effort to achieve the highest level of precision and scale possible. However, you acknowledge the following inherent limitations:

  • 3D Printing Variables: While every part is test-printed internally to verify tolerances and fittings, the extreme variability in consumer 3D printers, materials, calibration, and environmental factors means we cannot guarantee identical results or perfect fittings on your specific machine.
  • Confidentiality Restraints: A SIMSTRUCT cockpit is not, and cannot be, a mathematically identical replica of the real-world aircraft. Due to military secrecy and non-public data, designs are educated estimations derived from photographs, public manuals, and spatial reasoning.

3. Limitation of Liability (Hardware & Injury)

Building flight simulator hardware involves the use of power tools, lasers, soldering irons, 3D printers, and live electricity. SIMSTRUCT assumes absolutely no liability for any physical injury, property damage, hardware failure, or financial loss incurred during the fabrication, assembly, or use of our designs.

By downloading our files or utilizing our wiring diagrams, you acknowledge that you are building at your own risk and are solely responsible for ensuring adequate safety protocols, proper electrical grounding, and safe workshop practices.

4. Strictly Prohibited Use

SIMSTRUCT is an entertainment and educational platform dedicated exclusively to consumer flight simulation.

  • We do not endorse, design, or provide means to manufacture any illegal, dangerous, or real-world weaponry, devices, or tactical systems.
  • Any use of SIMSTRUCT files or code outside the scope of desktop gaming/simulation is a direct violation of these terms and will result in immediate termination of access.

5. Intellectual Property & File Distribution

The CAD files, STL models, PCB layouts, blueprints, code, and accompanying documentation provided remain the exclusive intellectual property of SIMSTRUCT. While we cannot technologically prevent you from copying a digital file, your access is bound by a strict honor code and the following legal framework:

  • Personal Use Only: Files are provided for your personal, non-commercial use to build a simulator for yourself.
  • No Resale or Redistribution: You are strictly prohibited from reselling, redistributing, hosting, or sharing the digital files (STL, CAD, DXF, code) on any public or private platform, forum, or community.
  • No Commercial Manufacturing: You may not use SIMSTRUCT designs to manufacture physical panels, kits, or simulators for sale to others under any circumstances without a negotiated B2B licensing agreement.

6. Legal Notice & Ownership

In compliance with the Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), the following information identifies the owner and coordinator of this platform:

  • Lead Engineer: Fernando Monteagudo Penas
  • Resident State: Spain
